Dear Katherine, We would like to thank you for the incredible experience we had at your beautiful Daintree Secrets. The house and its surroundings were absolutely fascinating and magical. I must say that I have never seen such a stunning place as yours. The design, furnishings, and attention to detail throughout the house were simply perfect. The outdoor area, with its veranda, swimming hole, and creek, was truly amazing and unforgettable. The tree snake (we named her Maddie) stayed with us on the veranda for almost our entire visit. Thomas the turtle and Eric the eel also made several appearances, which added even more charm to our stay. The perfect finale was meeting your wonderful caretakers before we left. They shared many interesting details with us and also gave us a fantastic tip about where we could see crocodiles. Please pass on our warm regards and thanks to both of them. Once again, thank you very, very much for creating and sharing this magical place with us.

We had a magical stay at Daintree Secrets. My daughter kept calling it Paradise. The grounds, waterfall, and watering holes are amazing, and the beanbags and porch swing are delicious to relax on. We were sorry to leave. The humidity makes everything a bit damp, but this is to be expected and well worth it for the amazing location of staying inside the rainforest next to a waterfall. We'd love to return someday.

The creek is absolutely magic. There are not many places in the world where you can be so close to nature overlooking such a beautiful creek. We really enjoyed our time swimming and relaxing by the creek even though the weather was a little colder than usual. We have visited the Daintree on a number of occasions but couldn't get over how special this swimming hole was.

Nothing can really prepare you for the beauty of this place. Standing on the decking, watching the water run through the waterfall, seeing an azure kingfisher flashing by, is just an incredible experience. The house is very comfortable with a great well-stocked kitchen, nice sheets, good showers etc, but the real magic is the outside. We had quite a bit of rain the 3 days we were there which made the forest shiny and beautiful. The water was a bit chilly but everyone still loved having a dip in the swimming hole. Perhaps most memorable was feeding Eric the eel and Thomas the turtle a few little pieces of meat from the deck above - so much fun for the kids. Oh, and there are also torches provided for spotlighting at night - we saw a frog! Hope to be back one day to this amazing place!

The location is perfect for people wanting to be fully immersed in the forest, and the wildlife is amazing! It's the fish in the rock pool, the turtles in the stream and the tiny bats flying around the deck in the evening that really made it special, we'll definitely be back!

This was honestly one of the best Airbnb stays I've ever had l, quite possibly the best. The property is absolutely stunning, and having a private waterfall on the grounds felt like something out of a dream. Waking up to the sounds of nature and being able to enjoy such a magical spot all to ourselves made our stay truly unforgettable. The house itself was beautiful, impeccably maintained, and had everything we could possibly need. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, making it feel both luxurious and incredibly welcoming. The location was peaceful and secluded while still being convenient to explore the surrounding area. We spent so much time simply enjoying the property because it was such a special place to be. Photos don't do it justice - it's even more breathtaking in person. I genuinely couldn't recommend this Airbnb highly enough. If you're considering booking, do it! It's a rare gem and a place we'll be talking about for a long time.

Overall, Daintree Secrets has to be a 10/10. going through AirBnB's questions, the only one we waivered on was cost value, only because this is not a low cost rental. That being said, it is one of the best places we have ever stayed and one of the most fun places our kids have ever stayed. We did travel the Daintree a little bit, but for the most part, stayed at home, and what a home! Our kids must have jumped from the big rock into the big pool a minimum of 50 times each. We swam with the fish in the big pool, we had a blast watching Thomas the Turtle and Eric the Eel, we had an Amethystine python above the veranda for 2 days, fell asleep to the rain on the roof above us and overall enjoyed the property. We did do a night walk in the Daintree with Cane (10/10 would recommend 1,000%!) and enjoyed the beach at Thornton Beach and Cape Trib, but overall Daintree Secrets was our destination in the Daintree. Katherine was an amazing host, the place is fantastic and we loved it! 10/10!

We absolutely loved our stay at Daintree Secrets, it was a great privilege to spend time in this gorgeous rainforest retreat! The house is beautiful, the grounds are stunning, and having a waterhole to swim in right outside your door was amazing. Katherine provided us with lots of useful information before our stay, including for activities and places to eat, which was invaluable and helped us to plan our stay. She was very responsive to any questions we had and was overall a wonderful host. We would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend it to anyone planning a holiday to the Daintree. It was a privilege to stay at Daintree Secrets. Particularly very grateful that our 3 teenagers got to experience something so different and peaceful. We are an extremely busy family and it gave us a great opportunity to reconnect and do simple things together.

Secrets is a 1 in a million location and place to stay. What dreams are made of. Was soo good to get off the grid for a few days and relax in the pristine waters right below the balcony. You feel like you have the whole rainforest to yourself. House was immaculate and everything is as the host described. Katherine was a wonderful and helpful host. We'll be back for sure.

Daintree Secrets is indescribable. Don't hesitate just book it you will not be sorry. We travel for a month every year and Staying here was life changing and 100% the best place we have ever stayed! Thankyou Katherine we will be back!!
